So reassembled, chains back on, new cables made and installed now to deal with this hacked up wiring. I will attach a bunch of pictures I guess I am a little lost as to where things are supposed to be going. Anyone know of a wiring diagram. I looked at the 6v 50v diagram but it confused me. Thanks a bunch,

Ok Pictures, lets start at the engine. In this image you can see the red wire which I ran to the taillight, their was no wiring there previously and I am missing the tailight guts so I am not sure if I need more than one wire running back there.

Then from the magneto there is a grey and a yellow wire, I ran the grey wire to the HT coil as it seemed to be the right length and that is the way the 6v 50v were wired.

again apologies for huge pics.

Now at the HT coil you can see I attached the grey wire to the input. And the yellow wire has been hacked off by some previous owner. Not sure where that goes.

Now up front, the switches were still attached so I didn't have to get into those but I have 4 loose wires.

two yellow, one of which looks cut and the other with a clamp end
one grey, looks cut - labeled by previous owner "rear taillight"
one red, has clamp end.

My thoughts are that the clamp end red and yellow go to the horn, the cut yellow should be rejoined with the other cut end of the yellow wire near the HT coil. And that the grey wire should be run to the red wire that I ran to the taillight?

Any thoughts?

Again thanks for any help.

Those pics are HUGE. lol

Here is where you want to run your wires

Grey - goes from the Novi ignition terminal to the external ignition coil.

Yellow wire - your lighting and horn wire.
Wire goes from the lighting coil up to the headlight switch, connect it to one of the paired up spade terminals on the switch
On the second half of the paired up switch you need to connect the wire that goes to the horn

On the opposite paired terminals you need to connect one wire going to the headlight
on the second half of that pair connect a wire going to the tail light

On the headlight you need to connect the wire from the switch to the terminal which goes to the center contact of the light bulb.
The other terminal on the head light needs a short wire that goes to a mounting screw for a ground.

On the taillight you need to connect the wire from the switch to the terminal which goes to the center contact of the light bulb.
The other terminal on the taillight needs a short wire that goes to a mounting screw for a ground.

Getting back to the horn, the second terminal for the horn goes to the horn button.

The short grey wire with the eye terminals is your grounding strap. Connect one end to the engine and the other end to one of the mounting bolts for the external ignition coil.
